Comments Off There will be NO CLASSES on Tues., Aug. 30 or Wed., Aug. 31 at the Chandler dojo. The Chandler Community Center will be doing it’s annual stripping and refinishing of all the floors. We are lucky because August has 5 weeks this year, so we’ll still get in 4 weeks of training. The city actually considered our schedule when planning for this so if you get a chance let the front desk people know how much you appreciate their thoughtfulness.
Comments Off The Chandler dojo will not have classes on Wed., Nov. 24 (day before Thanksgiving) because the Community Center closes at 5 pm that day. Also, There will be no Aikido classes on Wed., Dec. 15 due to our Christmas party and awards ceremony being held on that evening. The last class for 2010 for the Chandler dojo will be Wed., Dec. 22.

Comments Off Congratulations go out to Avichal Jha and his wife, Anu, on the birth of their new baby girl. Mother and daughter are both fine and healthy. We wish Avi and Anu all the best as they begin their new life as parents. The world is lucky to have such loving people to raise this little girl.
