On Friday, March 30 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Mesa dojo (7550 W. Adobe Rd.) we will be presenting an Aikido demonstration to help promote and highlight the Mesa dojo’s classes. All students of AoP are invited and are welcome to participate in the demonstration. Each of our locations (Chandler, S. Chandler, Mesa) will be helping us show what Aikido is and how fun it can be for kids as well as adults. Let your Sensei know if you plan on participating. Information sheets are at each dojo.
ROLL-A-THON will take place during each of the kids’ classes on Friday, May 27. Please read article for full details.
There will be NO CLASSES on Mon., May 30. The center will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.
Looking ahead, there will be NO ADULT CLASSES in Mesa for the month of December. The center changes it closing time December 13 to 7:00 which conflicts with our adult class time. This will also affect the older kids’ class for three classes. Beginning Mon., Dec. 13 the older kids’ class will begin at 5:50 and end at 6:45. The last class for Mesa students in December will be Mon., Dec. 20. Classes will go back to their regular schedule when classes resume on Mon., Jan. 3.
The Mesa dojo will NOT have classes on Monday, Sept. 6 as the Red Mountain Center will be closed for the Labor Day holiday. Classes will resume on Friday, Sept. 10.
There will be NO CLASSES in Mesa on Monday, May 31 as the Red Mountain Center will be closed in observation of Memorial Day.
Aikido of Phoenix’s website has been updated to allow Mesa students to register with the city of Mesa through our website. We have included a link that will take you directly to the page you need in order to start the registration process. Once at this page you will need to login to the WebTrac system and proceed with registration. We hope this makes the registration process a little easier.
Chandler and South Chandler students will have this same opportunity beginning in June when students will be able to register for classes online and we link it through our website.
