Some of you recently attended the Fall Bridge Seminar in Prescott and thoroughly enjoyed the training and comaraderie. We would like to offer the seminar experience to Aikido of Phoenix students as well as anyone who is interested. Join us as Fred Mastison Sensei (founder and Kancho of Aikido of Phoenix) shares his years of experience in Aikido through a two-day seminar. The first day will be open-hand techniques and the second day will be weapons work (bokken and jo). It will be a fun and exciting learning experience for all who attend. We are hoping this becomes an annual event that will give Aikido of Phoenix students an opportunity to have a seminar experience without a lot of travel and expense. Mark you calendars now and plan on attending this wonderful opportunity.
This seminar will be conducted outside so bring sunscreen and/or hat along with water, sandals/shoes that can be easily taken on and off and weapons if you have them. There will be jos and bokkens available to borrow if you do not have your own. Restroom facilities are also available. A lunch break will be taken each day during which you can leave and get a bite to eat from a nearby restaurant or you are welcome to bring a sack lunch and eat on the premises.
